- Space for the band: about 6 × 4 m for a quartet, 3 × 2 m for a trio
- Photos of the venue sent to the band
- The band placed close to guests (and to the bar during a cocktail)
- One power socket, ideally two, not shared with the caterer
- The venue's sound limits (decibels, neighbours)
Sound and lights
- Who provides sound and lights: the venue, our partner, or the band self-contained
- The technical rider sent to the supplier
Timing
- The band's arrival, three hours ahead on average
- A slot for the soundcheck, with no guests or conference next door
- Unloading and parking details
The schedule
- The full programme shared with the band: speeches, photos, bouquet toss, games, awards
- The songs that matter to you (entrance, first dance, songs to avoid)
- The handover with the DJ, if there is one
Welcome
- Musicians' meals (and dietary requirements)
- A space to change, water during the show
